Everyone I know in the US is wagecucking like an animal and they're expected to work unpaid overtime often

Also many guys I know there have been called back to the office. They're no long allowed to work remotely lmao wtf is this shit

What how

Slave culture with only 2 weeks annual leave a year. How the fuck do you UScels cope?

What's the point of earning more money if you have no free time to live your life, especially in your youth

Meanwhile us UKcels are 'working' from home, chilled, playing PS5, 5 weeks off a year

6 hours work or 4 day work week should be standard. Do people even work the full 8 hours even? Whenever I work office I spend a lot of the time just idling, but I still get the job done. 6 hour work days have even been tried and studied here in Norway. Sick days went down, productivity went up

If you graduate from a good college & work in consulting/ IBD/ PE you can make $150-200K income your 1st year out of college & like 2x that your 2nd year if you're good

Most wall street internships pay like $9-10K per month

Wages are multiple times higher in thr US. The earning potential is through the roof because of the huge economy and diverse market place US has. It's a gold mine for hustlers who are willing to grind hard.

Indeed. US has insane earning potential. You have to be idiot or extremely lazy to be poor in the US. UKcels can only dream of having such insane opportunities of growth. US job market mogs the UK to oblivion in all sectors.

UScels infact only 11.7 percent of American workers work 50 hours per week or more, below the average of 13 percent for the 38 countries in this study

the average employee worked 34.3 hours per week in August, 2016, compared to 34.4 hours per week in August, 2006. Hours worked dropped by half an hour per week during the recession and have recovered right back to where they were a decade ago.

Cope more

That is true aswell. Americans don't enjoy the benefits and don't have the work life balance of europe but it's still much better than third world countries and isn't too bad. If someone paying me literally 2x as much and expects to me work a few hours more that is perfectly reasonable.

Most people work an average job with 0 benefits while being forced to go into the office 5 days a week for an average salary

The people you're describing are less than 1% of the population

I acknowledged that in my post

But to me, a higher salary and being made to go in the office 5 days a week isn't worth it

I can guarantee you I live a better life, day to day, than 95% of Americans, if not more. I am literally never stressed and e.g. last year I went on 7 vacations too. But I earn a lot compared to the average ukcel and I lower expenses too + I'm not retarded with money like most who spend it on worthless shit

It's all about having a good day to day life. I used to commute 4 hours a day 5 days a week and it made me suicidal. I wouldn't go back to doing that even if someone offered me 300k a year

That's why commission based jobs are good

Earning %s of deals is goated. You're rewarded for your ability, not time

UK is not much better. Our wages suck in comparison to USA wages and also we have a very high cost of living and tax too. I’m thinking of moving to USA to moneymaxx for a few years

What’s your job? I have to pay for expensive train fees to get to work in London and it eats most of my salary

USA guys have already made more money by April than I’ll make in the whole year for doing the same job in UK…

I have to do 3 days in office for only $52k salary, I won’t measure it in pounds because the pound is basically monopoly money at this point.

Very legit but if you manage to get a high paid and remote job, you've won in this country

You don't have to live anywhere near london and everything is cheap as fuck. You can live like a king

Expenses would be immense if I hadn’t opted out of society. Everything here costs as least as much as in USA if you ignore the ultra high cost of living states and look at more realistic cities.

Professionals in the USA get just as much if not more time off. USA only sucks if you are unskilled / minimum wage IMO. UK is punishing because you do a 5 year STEM degree to barely be paid more than a Tesco worker.

Yeah I wish I could do that but I’m a recent graduate and companies aren’t going to trust someone to work from home until they have a proven track record

Food in the USA is double the price

I remember when I worked there for a while I was spending $15+ for lunch in places like Walgreens and CVS

Meanwhile in UK you're sorted with a £3.50 70g protein meal deal

My impression is that the food prices vary wildly by location. My friend in Virginia doesn’t find it more expensive than the UK for example.

Meanwhile food in UK is the same price everywhere from supermarkets.

USA get almost all consumer goods cheaper, so if you want any luxuries at all you are paying more. Cheaper cars, cheaper gas in the USA. Cheaper electricity and heating. Cheaper houses mostly when you look at it on a square foot basis. The only thing that sucks is the healthcare but to be honest you’re cooked if you need the NHS these days.

You'd be a slave, but in a more organised and compliant way. Serving in the military for a capitalist satanic elite, no difference .

Muh slave. This isn't conscription, it's an easy word to throw around these days from anyone who doesn't wish to stay in their basement. Cool story bro. There's always civvy street if you aren't in a business.
