Using indium as a chewing gum?

Indium (In, 49) is the only element in the universe that is safe and soft enough to chew, so why isnt anyone here talking about chewing that? The hardness is comparable to refridgerated milk duds, and sure does look cool to chew on it, its silver colored and shiny.
