Idk but arent there like 100 insulin syringes for a few bucks so you dont have to change anything and just throw away after use? But I am uninformed on this topic. I just want to use s.c. because it is just safer and better than I.MAre there videos about storing it in insulin syringes?
Im Europe we commonly get single use 1ml vials (while in the us 10ml multi use vials seem more common) so we have to draw up everything at once and then store in syringes.
I use one big needle for drawing all the test onto the syringes then put a smaller syrringe on it for storage and before injection I throw the storing syrringe away and use a fresh one.
Doctor said the storing syrringe becomes unsterile after a couple days, which is why I should use a fresh one. Not sure whether that would apply to i sulin syrringes, as you can't change the needle.
With insulin needles one would also have problems with drawing up the last portion of the test from these 1ml vials. There would be a high chance of the needle scratching the bottom and losing its sharpness which is not good.
I guess with the american 10ml rubber top vials this is less of a problem.
How do I know when I am subq and when IM? I mean if youre low bodyfat you hardly have enough fat. What would happen if I accidentially inject IM, nothing right?Syrringe does not matter for subq or im, you can do both with either insulin or regular syrringes.
