Anabolic steroids are used by adolescents as well as adults to increase facial muscle and improve appearance and overall SMV! Since these substances strongly enhance protein synthesis, it’s clear that craniofacial changes in bone size and, perhaps, skeletodental relationships WILL also occur.

Eighty rat pups were divided into three groups: (1) sham-treated controls, (2) a low-dose group (1 mg/kg/wk nandrolone phenpropionate), and (3) a high-dose group (10 mg/kg/wk). The high-dose regimen more closely mimics dosages used by abusers. Steroid therapy significantly increased all measures of the craniofacial complex (k = 20)--on the order of 3.5%-except some precocious calvarial dimensions.

Importantly, significant alterations also occurred in facial morphology. The low-dose group exhibited proportionate increases in most craniofacial dimensions, but the high-dose produced overt shape changes, notably a maxillomandibular, anteroposterior jaw discrepancy due to maxillary excess. In sum, this anabolic steroid SIGNIFICANTLY altered facial growth in this animal model; by extension, steroid use by ADOLESCENT humans WILL produce discernible changes in their craniofacial shape, structure and SIZE!

rats on steroids does not converge with humans on steriods

I took very uneducated doses of test cyp in my mid-teens and, anecdotally, my cheekbones seemed to have gotten slightly larger after I decided to quit taking it. I was on it for about 2 months. I took weekly amounts of 200mg up to 800mg weekly.

Then again, there is no cause and effect you can draw from it. Too many extraneous variables. Could be merely puberty and a coincidence for all I know.

Interesting, I’ve had a similar experience to yours, I am a 19 year old male and recently I decided to take SARMs, they are pills that work sort of like a minimal amount of steroids and have reduced side effects.

I'm on week 6 of an 8 week cycle of SARMs, people tell me I look leaner, more chiseled in the face and treat me with more respect, I have become one of the best players in my basketball team and my trainer is impressed. I get more attention from guys and girls.

If you are copy-pasting a study atleast do it correctly and unbiased retard.

Here is the article for anyone wondering.

The conclusion of the article was that it "MAY produce discernible changes in their craniofacial complexes" not that it "will"..

indeed. even if op claims to know this was the case, it is an extremely weak indicator for his theory.

If you’re truly worried about your testosterone levels I’d suggest going to a doctor and getting tested

It could very well be that you have low testo levels and could get prescribed testosterone replacement

Do you feel tired most of the day, low sex drive, or mood swings?

Honestly, low self esteem and general depression can be linked to low testosterone levels

I’d really suggest contacting a doctor to get it checked out. Listen man, all us guys have had moments like yours and I have several friends who started off with abnormal levels. Give things a chance and see what’s wrong

Also what’s your bmi? I don’t know your height but with your weight you seem severely underweight

Quite hard to test these things anyway I imagine. Plenty of extraneous variables you simply can't get rid of. Especially if you're doing it on humans going through puberty. Will always be a "may" like most stuff in biology.

Even if it does grow your bones noticeably by itself, which doesn't seem logical, then I think you'd be pretty prone to asymmetry, plus acromegaly would mess you up.

People seem to conflate the idea of a linear relationship between total bone mass or relative bone mass, and better facial aesthetics. To me, you'd grow systemically even if it was proven to grow bones. I really wouldn't recommend it. Genetic determinism is very real. There isn't much you can do.

I remember seeing on here a couple years ago, "The best time to looksmax is the first trimester", and it remains very true.

The quantity and quality of cardio you do is way more important than anybody on these forums will ever tell you.

You will not, and cannot be your strongest without significant cardiovascular fitness.
