Try abstaining from products that dry out your face for a week or two and let the moisture barrier heal. Urea/vaseline does work well.

Face was more hydrated than ever before.
With a soft baby like texture.

But at the same time, I never had acne throughout puberty. So my skin isn't acne prone either

Not the ENTIRE day, but definitely most of the day.
The hydrated feeling goes away 8 hrs after my morning skin care.

I don't do anything, it's not dry skin. But not hydrated soft either. Just normal.
