"chasing the dragon" refers to the elusive pursuit of a high equal to the user's first in the use of a drug, which after acclimation is no longer achievable.

True that. I tried quadrupling doses and not even that shit did the trick. I officially quit all drugs 3 days ago, 01-12-2023 is my sober date.

@MoggerGaston you talk a lot about droogz

beware
Hmm can't really relate.

My first times using hard-drugs, always have a place in my memory. How new, insane, awesome those experiences were compared to anything I experienced before.

Now when I use drugs, I honestly feel like I still have the same high, the same euphoria, the same insanely positive feelings the first time I used drugs.
But it's not 'special' anymore. I am just like: 'Oh damn, there's the euphoria waves hitting me again. yeahhhh I know this. Good shit'j

The first few times I was like: 'holy fuck!!! whats happening guys?!?!?!? I feel sooooo fucking good, whoooow. holy shit u guys have this too? damnn wtf is this. Is this even possible? Is this healthy?!@?!?!?

etc

You probably dont experience the same euphoria you did when you used it first time but if you take long enough breaks its probably near the same amount

I am not sure if that's the case.

I know now, hindsight, that the drugs I have been using recently were of lower quality than when I started using a year ago.
I had them tested and some of it was watered down, laced, with unideal chemicals.

I know that when I started using drugs, I had really pure shit.

Especially with cocaine this is REALLY noticeable. The difference between snorting the pure 90% cocaine stuff, is night and day, compared to snorting this 50% cocaine garbage that a lot of dealers are selling.

recovery periods are generally over-rated I think.

FIrst of all, remember, there's ZERO studies done purely focused onto the recreational effects of drugs, how much to take, how often, etc.

Just think, which company would fund such a study, and with what purpose? Spend those millions.
Nobody.

At best you will find a government that is willing to fund the millions for such research. What is the purpose? public health.

A study focused on public health on hard drugs is going to tell you one thing, and one thing only:

Drugs are bad.

That ain't useful.

And one drug ain't the same as another. People like to dump them all on one heap: 'these are all drugs brooo.'

But the difference between shrooms and alcohol, is probably similar to eating either brocolli or chicken nuggets. Where's the similarity?
