I’ve been saying it for years on this forum, looks are just for getting girls, they won’t make other guys wanna be your friend or let alone have all these people throw money at you. The best looking guys and biggest slayers I’ve known had the same friend groups from childhood and did not have successful careers at all unless it was drug related or professional athlete. But a bunch of 15 year olds heard something about the halo effect on TikTok so they know all about careers and money and the adult world.

Looks really only let you make big strides like that if your a woman. A guy with looks but nothing else won't just be automatically afforded a high luxury lifestyle.

I dealt with this bullshit all through high-school, being leaked by my ex, being fucked over by my so-called “friends”, and dealing with nothing but the up most nasty rumors and disrespect on the daily.

by the end of high-school … i ended up

I believe you but those statistics and also your experiences show a correlation, not a causation. Any causation would be more through the old money breeding that most CEOs come from rather than just height or looks on its own. If all else equal, in most career paths there might never even be the chance for your looks to make a difference. They’ll pick the boss’ golfing buddy’s son for the promotion or offshore it to India or whatever over your face and height.

I worked at a luxury hotel once and have also been to Monterey Car Week many times, been around plenty of millionaires, at 6’2” I’m still taller than most of them. If anything I’ve noticed the wives are taller. But either way because of correlation versus causation this can be tricky looking at from the outside in.
