VT is already fully diversified and any assets you purchase outside of this is actually undiversifying your portfolio

The only reason you should be investing in any other ETF besides VT is because you have a belief in one specific market or region and want to allocate your investments towards those markets. If you do that you are doubling down on whatever market you choose, its actually less safe, not more safe than just holding VT
