Would I get benefit from learning Russian? I'm not sure about this, but I know that Andreishchev is a Russian maxillofacial surgeon and I want to communicate with him to get a second opinion on my face/surgeries. You're not going to be able to speak to him without years of Russian. Even if you go on google translate your pronunciation, cadence, and dialect would be completely off to the point where you might as well just speak English. The Russian language is very different from English.

I haven't learned Russian until few months ago, but even then, I knew that it is or was good language for foids (and somewhat lucrative). I don't have a dialect yet (if that what you means), but my accent is nothing severe (aside from my rhotacism) to say the least
