It is legit in the sense that you can make money from it. But it's hard asf and if you wanna do it to make money and think you can do it over a summer then you're in for a not so fun time. So stay away from it. If you try it and genuinely love the process of doing it, analyzing everything, improving with time etc then sure it can be an option. But its not easy

I mean its gambling in the sense that the outcome isn't certain. But you can have strategies that make you money more often than not. It's like being the house at a casino. Someone can win big on a slot machine, but at the end of the day you still win most of the time. All though thats a hard spot to get to

It's a decent way to make money. If you were to trade crypto you need your own money. On forex and futures you can buy a 10k account from a propfirm and pass it. It usually takes a few years to get profitable and keep in mind you're gonna blow a lot of money cuz basically most videos that have decent views dont work and get their money through a course/ their yt channel. I'd start to watch like basic content abt support and resistance and learn some basic principles. Than watch Inner Circle Trader...
Most multimillion dollar stories abt trading are FAKE.... GL
