After almost 10 months I've got trimax covered by insurance in the states. Paying roughly 6k out of pocket for ortho and trimax. I've tried all approaches towards coverage and I got it. The approach that worked for me was that ive had tmj issues for the bast 7 years, I found an in network surgeon who does tmj and was also a maxillofacial surgeon. When I had my referral I spoke with him and explained to him how in reality I was here for trimax, he listens to me and after all scans he said with my class 2 skeletal case I was a candidate. Solely with a lateral ceph and bite photos my insurance approved it. Im choosing to remain more anonymous throughout this site but I wouldn't mind if any of you guys would want to PM and ask more personal questions. Ill be in braces by next week and hopefully 3-6 months from now ill undergo trimax.
