If you only reproduce with people in ur climate or race ur not going to have the genetic defenses against diseases in other climates so if u were ever to travel or the disease or illness were to migrate u would have no genetic resistence. Thanks to the rapidity of how bacteria and disease evolves if there was no genetic diversity we would be dead due to having no resistences to any of them.
