Your brain is probably fried from tiktoks and other short form content, so it's hard now to focus on a match where nothing can occur for long periods of time, this happens now to more and more people, you can often see many of them at sports matches staring at their phones, I wouldn't be surprised if popular sports like football would eventually drop significantly in popularity and people just won't care anymore.
