We want higher levels of IGF-1 to increase height, framemaxx, and also (probably?) for normal craniofacial growth.

To boost igf-1 we need higher GH and testosterone. GH and IGF-1 are generally correlated, but not always (e.g. fasting can increase GH while lowering IGF-1 levels). Also insulin:

Relation between height velocity and fasting insulin concentrations

kid's nowadays are taller than ever and it's attributed to the dogshit insulinogenic foods we consume.

So tell me some methods to increase IGF-1. From what I have found up to now:

- eating a shit ton of food, protein diet
- ? food with high insulin index (sugar & sweets) ?
- sleeping a lot, also no food in three hours before sleep
- supplements (zinc, magnesium, vitamic C, vitamin D...)
- exercises (specifically high intensity exercises)

- peptide stacks, hGH injections?

Ive been avoiding igf-1 because I thought it causes diabetes, now youre telling me that I need to get diabetes to grow taller

just normal doses theory

Btw it seems sauna also increases gh and igf-1.

It also causes cancer.
You know, short men live longer for a reason.

Bro how can you call yourself a heightmaxxer when you’re avoiding igf-1 :lul:
That’s like saying you wanna be a pilot but avoid entering any planes

Glucosamine was often recommended for heightmaxxing because of a study showing that it stimulates growth in rats.

But it seems to actually reduce IGF-1 and insulin sensitivity in humans.

Also green tea decreases IGF-1 and testosterone levels.

Physical and psychological stress promotes the secretion of GH (anxiety, pain, surgery, haemorrhage, fever, and strenuous exercise). The most important metabolic stimulus for GH secretion is hypoglycaemia. Increased plasma levels of amino acids and reduced plasma levels of FFA
stimulate GH output. Oral glucose depresses the release of GH. High plasma GH levels and IGF-1 inhibit GH release via feedback action.

[...]

A short-term cold air exposure (1/2 - 2 h at 4 - 10º C) either had no effect on the plasma GH levels (16,44) or decreased them (3,30) in male subjects. Sex-related differences have been reported (18). Floating or swimming in cold water had no effect on plasma GH (17,45). Swimming in water over 26º C raised the GH levels (17,46). Intensive cold water exposure, 12º C for 10 min (31), and eating crushed ice in thermoneutral water decreased the plasma GH (42). Neither winter swimming (47) nor a prolonged Antarctic residence had any effect on GH levels (48), perhaps due to lack of intensive body cooling.
