Sorry there's no way to genuinely shorten the midface (and that's taking risky surgeries into consideration). Ask any rhino fanatic and they'll tell you that shortening the nose is impossible. The only thing you can do about shortening a midface is to create the appaearance of a shorter midface.

So here are a few options to consider:

Rhinoplasty
If your nose is a bit downturned you can lift it a little with rhinoplasty sometimes giving the appearance of a more compact midface.

Cheek augmentation
If your face is a bit narrow you can laterally augment your cheekbones to create a wider face, balancing out a potential horse face. If you ever see people with long faces who "don't look bad" it's usually because they have wide cheekbones to balance it out.

Chin augmentation
Sometimes your chin is just too small and it makes your midface looks disproportionately large. If this is the case you can consider chin augmentation.

Lip lift
Maybe your philtrum is abnormally long. If you have a thin upper lip sometimes you can lift said lip to help remedy this.

Makeup fraud
There are makeup techniques to make a midface appear smaller, usually by slightly masking the under eye area with aegyosal and lashes. Unfortunately you can only really fraud lashes as a guy (through serums, castor oil, minox, or curling) and if you naturally have mild aegyosal then good for you.

These are all known options to genuinely shorten the appearance of a midface. Thumbpulling is cope and CCW bimax rarely brings the results most people think it will and I'd count that under a form of chin augmentation.
