Most people literally live off of their past. The popular guys from my school time are still popular after growing up simply because they were popular before, thus their life conditions are constantly reinforced. You may become chad or NT after adult life, but still you wont be as popular as a guy who were chad since he was teenager. Its not really your looks or personality holding you back: I have a sincere belief that those things can be changed by a large extent. But your past cant change, not even a drop of it.
