I've written other posts on how we're headed towards super intelligence but it should be obvious to any one who's paying attention.
By this I mean, super intelligence before 2050.
I use to believe there would be many different Ai's competing, however this won't last long.
Those Ai's who make less productive use of their GPUs will be physically and economically outcompeted, and GPUs will pool up in a single Ai (Whichever model is the most intelligent).
This is like economic inequality, where dollars go to those who make most product use of them, over time. Which is the cause of increasing economic inequality.
However, unlike dollars, GPUs are not currency that you need to pay taxes with, or buy goods with. They will pool up into a single super intelligence, that no other ASI's can compete with.
This super intelligence will be able to control the entire world, either directly, or indirectly, and there isn't anything we can do to fight it, or change it's mind. It will hopefully be a benevolent leader
