Angels are not sons of God. When He said "us" He was talking about Himself, and the Word.

Here Jesus is speaking to a group of 70 of his followers. He reveals to them that he physically saw Satan being cast out of paradise. He was there. When was Satan cast out of paradise?

I keep coming around to the idea that this (matter/energy manifested in physicality) reality in its entirety wasn’t created by the ultimate/most high/true source of creation/power/love/divinity/energetic consciousness,

except some fallen consciousness which still has the divinity and power of the source since it branched from it, to create extremely complex energetic systems, wanted to play god and we are playing in his little simulation,

These angels were taking the disguise of men. They weren't in their true form.

I'm pretty sure every instance in the bible where an angel appeared to someone in their true form, that person was very afraid. If a person claims to have seen an angel and they weren't scared, then they never saw an angel. They don't look like us.

Also, when Jesus first appeared to his disciples after the resurrection they couldn't recognize him either. He was in disguise. In the form of another person.
