It’s also bad cuz if society didn’t consider murder wrong it would collapse onto itself and fail rlly easily. It’s also basic evolutionary survival to consider killing wrong since if other humans have enough of a moral agency to understand why murder is bad than that drastically lowers the chances of you dying unjustly/ for no reason.

Also biggest reason that killing humans is worse is cuz we ourselves are human, there’s this thing called empathy (you’ve might not have heard of it) that allows us to connect with other humans and put ourselves in their shoes. It’s far more difficult to feel empathy for a cockroach than it is for a human baby dying.

A dumb person and an intelligent person both have the same capacity for pain and grief. So it is equally bad in killing both of them. But If it came down to pure value then yes an intelligent person often has more value than a dumb person.
