I didnt specifically get a buzz cut, but went from kind of long hair (12cm) to kind of short (4/5cm)

Shortening the sides makes the face look narrower and it looks like crap tbh

btw i know short hair can look good, i look good with short hair too

but the process from short to medium/ long is just too long to justify a short hair cut

keep it longer, you have way more options

True, found out a good medium cut looks great on me and frames the FACE better which is probably why most models have medium hair.

Can't believe I coped thinking that short/skin fade sides looked better for years.

But tbf medium looks worse on me when I don't style my hair, but looks way better than short sides when I do style it since it frames my FACE so well.

I will cope with hair for the rest of my life, If i start balding I don't know what I'll do.

Thats what I did, when I was growing it out it looked like complete an utter shit, but once I got it long enough and got it cut into the style that I want. The difference is night and day.

I happily spend 5 or 10 minutes more each day just to do my hair the way I want it. It's such a halo.
