Acting and improvisation classes - they will teach you how to fake it till you make it and babble about absolutely anything, even if you know nothing about that subject.

1. Ask them something non-trivial about their life
2. Let them talk while you listen
3. look at them in the eyes.

When I say non-trivial I mean instead of asking questions like these:
- How are you?
- What do you do/study?

Think for a second about what gives them fears and pleasure and ask something like:
- What do you like about being a nurse?
- Did you managed to find some friends there?
etc.

You will find out that people love to talk about themselves and they find you interesting if you listen to them.
When they ask you a question learn to tell a story with emotion. There's lots of videos on yt on how to do this.

DON'T
- Interrupt people while they are talking.
- Lie when talking about yourself. Strive to be humble and authentic.
- Look them anywhere but their eyes
