How is it more humane to prolong the suffering of people when there is no hope for their recovery than it is to euthanise them? If you require 24/7 support and care just to be kept in a state of constant suffering with no end in sight, it's time to go.

100 percent agree. My mother is at her wits end with my demented 87 yo granma. Mom developed psoriasis and high blood pressure from the constant, incessant yelling and moaning of that walking corpse. The old woman has no idea where she is, who we are, who she is always in some pain and moaning 24/7 to the point mom can't get any good sleep.
