It depends on many things.

-First of all, when you smoke weed, then use strains with a lower THC level, because THC is the main component, which can effect your brain negatively over time and if you have someone in your family, who had a psychosis, then it could even lead to triggering that psychosis earlier. (But we‘ll go more into this.) If you live in a country, where its illegal, then just take it from people you actually can trust, maybe who breed it themselves and at best outdoor grown stuff. (Outdoor grown stuff is tends to have less THC.)

-The danger of gras from the street
Sometimes gras can be mixed with other harmful components to make it heavier on the scale.
Watch out for that, because it is very unhealthy;
thats why you should it just take from someone you actually trust.

-The cognitive effects (dumbcel theory?)
Does weed cause the users to be dumb?
It depends how mich you smoke it, but while you are in the puberty it could effect your cognitive skills, but that is also a problem by alcohol.

-Weed is natural -its a plant

Relax, important is that you know what you do.
You’re the one, who choices, what to do.
As long as you consume it in a way, that you can stop any time and it doesn’t affect sour life negatively, than its your personal choice.
Also don’t mix it with alcohol. And by that, sadly almost nobody ask the same questions in this quantity about alcohol? Alcohol gets often accepted, while gras not.
One of the only reasons, shy alcohol gets so accepted in our society is, because its culturally accepted and not that it would be very less harmful.

-Conclusion
Don’t smoke high potent stuff, watch out for yourself, don’t mix it with alcohol or at best just don’t consume alcohol.
Watch out if someone had metal problems in your family.
It absolutely shouldn’t be a daily or often consumed thing.
