This is kind of a schizo idea but I was looking at pictures and diet ideas of Brad Pitt as reference and I couldn't help but notice how different he looks facially in certain films where he has been lifting a lot.

Take Brad Pitt in fight club for example which he did in 1999. He is ULTRA lean and gymaxxing but his face looks very very rough vs. Meet Joe black which he did only one year before, so its basically the same time, he couldn't have aged.

This type of face is also evident in normal people who I see that lift a lot. They have this distinct look to their face that just does not look the best.

Could anyone answer this for me?

different lighting

Could literally be anything like lighting or some other shit. Plus some other scenes in that movie he had similar skin quality in the other movie. Maybe makeup to make him look better or worse for certain scenes idk.

But to answer your other question about the type of face you're referring to, over lifting causes oxidative stress on the body and probably ages you fast in the long term. Plus add roids and you've aged like 5 years or more depending on the timeframe.

It could even be diet itself, because I know some lifters who think they can just eat whatever as long as it gives them enough calories (a lot of food in the modern diet literally ages you quicker and gives you diseases).

Lifting is still good for you though, you just need to do it moderately and have adequate rest.

It's a trade off. The potential for better bones + a better physique is what people want usually, but more often than not, they eventually sacrifice their health and collagens + have their hairlines reaped by the norwood reaper. The worst part is, it's not guaranteed they'll look better anyways.

Sometimes it's worth and sometimes it's not.
