80% of your focus should be upper body. I would train legs only 1 time a week or every other week for now.

I got lean as fuck and my cheeks still lacked definition because there there's a lack of bone. It's time to get big, how old are you anyway? Looks like your face could mature a bit, which will help with definition.

Definitely nigga. noob gains are not tied to time, rather how much pressure you put on the muscles you have not used before. basically its not possible to waste noob gains. And yeah, a beginner can easily lose fat and build muscle while being in a deficit/maintenance

The answer to your first question is yes. Eat a eucaloric diet (just a fancy way of saying maintenance calories) with 1g per pound of body weight for what you'd like to be (i.e. if you want to be 170lbs then eat 170g protein/day). It has been shown in every study that with adequate protein you can lose fat and build muscle if you eat maintenance calories as a newb.

The answer to your second question is no. You can maintain muscle mass to a high degree while cutting if you consume more than 1g protein/pound of bodyweight, but you cannot build in a deficit; only in eucaloric or hypercaloric state.
