I am fully convinced that whereever you are, whoever you are ,or whatever you do in this world you're going to be under slavery of someone, or an object. Doesn't matter if you're an King living lavioushly, or an person born into a 3rd world.

1. You didn't choose your race, nationality, gender, social status, your parents, the society you were born into, and yes your looks too. All these things enslave you since you're forced to define yourself under these factors, and there is not much you can do to change them.
2. You're born and all of sudden society expects a whole list of things from you. Go to school, walk the pavement, be a wage slave, get married and get fucked, and then in the end DIE.
3. Feelings/Ego/Brain chemistry. You have absolutely no control over the feelings you feel at any given moment. Depression, anger, hunger, lust, euphoria, envy etc. are all out of our control. Its just a bunch of neurons firing against eachother that makes you feel that.
4. Flock behaviour. You see it all the time in nature, and all the time in humans. Emergent behaviour and flock mentality is very much an additional controlling fact facing humans.
5. Money is a big one, the whole thing is just a collective delusion and yet most people spend most of their lives trying to get more of it... to see the numbers go up on their glowing screen. It's very much a game.
6. Time. Ever since the clock was created, man has commoditized time which has allowed a dollar value to be placed on time, and allowed Capitlism to be born... e.g. jobs whether paid as a salary or an hourly rate are still paying you a certain level of delusional numbers for your hour of time. If time = life and time = money we are really just selling our lives to the highest bidder.

A german philosopher also defined this as "throwness" which means you were just "thrown" into existence with no choice of any basis factors, and you have to definde yourself under these.

Yes. Take also for example celebrities. I would go as far as to say that they are just idols, no different from the ancient idols humans used to worship (stars, the moon, love, fertility, the sun). A lot of people in society believe that whatever meaning you make out of life is going to be purposeless. Since we have absolutely no purpose for being here in the first place. Someone might say well the purpose is to survive. What they forget is that they preassume naturalism, which means all phyical processes can be deconstructed to matter. That would mean that we'd have to throw things away like morality, kindness, and reason.

Some might say that the purpose is hedonism, and to just do whatever that makes you happy. Well ask an serial killer what makes him happy, and you might have to reevaluate your statement. Btw what makes an serial killers life perspective wrong anyway (under naturalism) he deserves just as much as you to be happy.

For me the purpose is to have all those elements working in unison.

A serial killer isn't happy because his primitive self (drive to kill) isn't tied to any higher aspiration of creation.

He is likely just living in reaction to the treatment he's received in his life.

Even just having meaningless casual sex isn't necessarily good, because it's your lower base instinct. If it isn't lined up with any higher vision/aspiration, you'll feel depressed.

Try to understand yourself at all levels: what do you seek ideally (higher vision), as well as at the more ego driven and primal levels.

If you can get a great phsyique/aesthetic, as well as be independent financially, it's a good start.

Higher:
Generally the type of impact you want to make in the world. How you want to make a positive contribution (religious people would call this 'service')

Medium:
Ego/Status driven. Who do you want to be in the eyes of society? Social standing, validation from society etc

Lower:
Primal aggressive drives. (We all have them)
Do you want to rub your success in that fucker that bullied you? Do you want to make a ton of $ because you're angry you grew up poor? Do you wan to fuck a ton of hot bitches because you were rejected your whole adolescence?
This is probably where a lot of serial killers operate.

There is however one way to free yourself from all these factors/Gods. Because at the moment if you accept all these factors, and just go about living life - You're actually a polytheist. The way you could free yourself is to worship the one god Allah. Because Allah gives you a set of rules which automatically enslaves you only to him, and all the other factors becomes redefined by him. That is true freedom.

If you deny that, well then you'd to accept the fact you're basically a "cosmic orphan" who were thrown into this world full of sharks, and you have to find your way out. Under atheism/naturalism there can't be any hope, because if we're all destined to die, then what difference does is make if i live my life like a evil person, or a good person. If we're all just going to end up in the grave.

Thats why i can never understand atheists/agnostics who say "i dont believe/worship a god" which is wrong. Because a scientific study was actually done back in 2011 which concluded that ALL human beings have an innate disposition to worship a higher being, wherever you are. So you can choose to have many gods (the factors i listed) or have one god.

Just some things that modern atheist worship could be : Science, Scientists, modern culture, society/expectations, money, social status, celebrities, horoscopes, Baseless superstitions( 7-9-13, horoscopes).
