One of the main words that comes up when discussing eye area is PFL (Palpebral Fissure Length)

And when discussing frame, the phrase “shoulder to waist ratio" tends to pop up.

My take is that it should actually be the other way around.

When discussing eye area, the vertical height of the eye should be discussed as well. A vertically narrow, horizontally wide eye is ideal. This is why some men still have good eye areas despite narrow PFL. They have a good ratio.

With frame, it's all about size. The wider your shoulders, the better. An example of this is Adam Driver.

His shoulder to waist ratio is low. But he's W I D E, so it doesn't matter.

TLDR: All of these things matter, but eye width to height ratio matters more than just pfl. And bideltoid width matters more than shoulder to waist ratio.
