i'm sure preferences are reallyyyy going to vary here, i know some girls that are very into rings, necklaces, beanies, earrings, noserings etc... and a few that are repulsed by them. generally going overboard with the shiny colored diamonds and gems that the new rappers wear is almost always a looksmin imo and only shows off status and class, but even then you'll have people who claim its fake and will call you a tryhard.
