25yo zoomer here, still live with parents and feel socially stunted. When is the right age or time to move out?

I’m currently studying for a masters in tech and hopefully will get a paid internship so I can provide for myself.

I want to live with my aunt’s family who lives 30 mins away but my parents have told me they’re cleaning freaks, where you have to make sure everything is in superb condition.

Not sure what to do.

You definitely should. It’s good practice and honestly feels nice. But I don’t think it makes much difference unless you’re moving out alone.

Yeah, I agree. I feel like it would be good practice. I plan on moving out alone or find some roommates. Maybe live with my aunt. But it’s expensive in California!

Yeah, then it’s better to save up a bit before moving out alone or with roommates. Definitely go for it though. I’m lucky I live in a welfare country so I don’t have to pay for shit

Yeah, I was actually gonna go that route, makes the most sense. But it’s hard to bring girls over when you live with your parents.

Yh that’s the problem for a lot of us living at home with parents even worst of you have older siblings

The earlier the better, but don’t move out if you can’t sustain yourself financially. It will cause way more issues than being seen as a loser
