I did go to a lot of parties here in the west. But as a SEA that has no alchohol culture, it's just not my kind of fun. House party is ok because you meet friends and play games, but something like uni party it's just disgusting seeing people wasted, puke piss everywhere, again not my culture. I prefer bbq type of party.

Then they would come to my birthday party which was even more shit
I have 3 cousins who were half my age...

I live in the UK aswell. Been to a decent amount of parties so i can give you a basic idea.

Parties can vary in quality but they are worth going to in moderation (2 times a month maximum). The best parties are with alot of people you know. Usually good fun and great for strenghtening friendships.

Parties usually consist of drinking alcohol + drinking games , taking drugs, talking to people and clowning around. Never arrive to a party late if your 100% sober. Talking to drunk people sober is painful.

If you dont like a party you can leave, some people will be offended at you leaving and some times it takes a while for a party to pick up so its usually worth waiting for a bit.

Keeped your possessions in zipped/deep pockets on yourself at all times, if its a big party there will be thiefs. Its also very easy to drop your stuff if your drunk.

I havent seen many hookups at parties, everyone being familliar with eachother means that women arent going to be whoring around because their status is at risk (they will talk about their slutty endevours though). In pubs/clubs I see alot of slays happen due to the anomimity but not at parties.

tl;dr Drinking + Drugs without the whores. Are worth going to.
