I cant stop smoking what the fuck are the benefits from stopping,i need some reason to finally fucking quit

You'll age better due to collagen and you wont smell like a factory.
Also you wont die at 67 from lung cancer

The carbon monoxide from cigs cling to your cells 800x times stronger than oxygen does and essentially starve your body from oxygen, all other cosmetic effects you read about are no where near the detrimental effect it has on your overall body.

Ex smoker.

Don’t go cold turkey because you will rebound hard, first quit the smoking act THEN the nicotine, nicotine gum is cope go for the patches, u stick them on ur side delt and one patch = a pack of cigs.

After your body stabilises from not smoking you will find that from the pure nicotine ur pumping in ur body from the patches u will get mentally sharper because nicotine is a stimulant.

First 3 weeks:

Apply patch as soon as u wake up until you go to bed (if u cant then sleep with it but you will get some weird dream)

Then after 3 weeks:

Start applying it 2 hours after waking up and just continue with this pattern until u taper off

DONT CUT THE PATCH IN HALF INSTEAD USE TIME APPLIED AS THE METRIC OF TAPERING.

Downsides of smoking:

- costs a huge amount of money

- significantly increased risk of cancer

- A variety of other negative health effects, like reduced stamina and lung function

- It stinks and if you do it you stink

- Yellow teeth

- You age faster

- Constantly craving nicotine

- There's literally no upsides. It adds 0 extra value to your life

One that wasn't mentioned: saves time. Imagine spending 5 minutes smoking 1 cig. 20 cigs a day that's 100 minutes = 1 hour 40 minutes spend on smoking a day.

Even if you are 5 years sober, you will never feel the same as before you started. Picking up GABAergic things or other things which can stimulate you as well as smoking did (Niacin supplementation) might be a good choice

I just quit from 10 cigarettes per day to 0 and i dont even want to smoke wtf,i tried like 10+ times ton stop smoking and i always felt like shit and couldn't, but now im not even thinking about smoking idk what the fuck happened but cool i guess
 
switch to vaping bro you can control the ammount of nic and ween off of it slowly by lowering the mg ever week or so and you take out the thousands of chemicals from cigarettes aswell as carbon monoxide free

If it worked for you, then cool I guess. But remember, one of my family second degree members his now in the hospital with throat cancer from smoking his whole life. It's not worth it. Health / looks >>> everything

it's not a good time to try to quit now tbh, i don't know how it's going for you but i spend most of my day at home due to the lockdown, it's pretty hard when you don't have much to do and just laze away.

Smokers get agitated and uncomfortable when they haven't had a cigarettes for a long time. Non addicts don't feel this.

You have to smoke to feel relaxed, but a non smoker could just breath in a deep breath of fresh air and feel the just as relaxed.

The difference is the non smoker won't get that dopamine buzz. But that dopamine buzz is flooding your brain with dopamine, which the brain will later prune dopamine receptors to balance out, which means as you smoke, slowly over time you will feel more stressed and shittier, when not smoking. This process takes some time so people don't notice it, but you are actually making the emotional experience of your entire life worse.

It's the same for anything that floods your brain with dopamine to that degree, such as porn, cocaine, sex, and junk food. For each of these things that you can give up you will feel better in your over all life and your over all life will become more enjoyable.

I'm not saying to give up the other things though, I'm just saying you should factor in the fact that you will make your entire life quality and experience worse when you are adding up all the pros and cons.
