Will lefort 1 make my midface shorter if the remove some of its height? Also will genioplasty make midface look shorter since recessed chin makes it look long???

nope

lefort 1 is a modification it doesn't shorten your midface

the only way to do it is when you have a gummy smile
lefort 1 with maxillary impaction + lip lift

YOU CANT, 99% long midfaces are caused by a long nose.

Not even zygo implants can give some lateral projection?

I have gummy smile so this will work for me?

And what if there is no gummy smile? (I have LM, but smile is as it should be)

So you can do no surgery to help long noses, or fraud ?
I think MSE helps by widening cheekbones, increasing IPD and even making nose wider.

I have close ups and from my readings expanding cheekbones would make my eyes look even closer from the front; and either not help or even worsen perceived midface length

Then there's nothing that can be done, can't change nose length or IPD
in theory, you could, if you could manage to get a box osteotomy for aesthetics, an extreme surgery that is unheard of being done in PSL

yeah

"facial upsling"? If that is the same as facial upswing its def something sugery can do.

Isnt Double jaw surgery with CCW rotation good?

it's about giving the nose an upswing and therefore giving the illusion of a shorter midface followed by a lip lift to compensate for the lengthened philitrum

LeFort II's and III's may not shorten the veritcal length of the maxilla, but if you have "downward growth" the maxilla may not only be moved forward but with a counterclockwise rotation (from the subjects right side) of the occlusal curve of spee. This maneuver creats a slightly steeper forward downslope of the midface which makes it appear shorter. Of course, the mandible will have to be moved with it to maintain a good bite but this CCW of the mandible tends to be pleaseing as well.

Further there is a modified LeFort I where two cuts are made instead of one. The wedge inbetween these two cuts is removed and basically a maxillary wedge resection, a true vertical shorting of the maxilla. In this case the mandible will probably requre advancement or curve of spee rotation so the occlusal plane comes together nicely as well.
