Well, I can definitely see it getting that bad. Look at East Asia. They seem to be more ahead in the mouse utopia timeline than we are.

The reason as to why I think it really does get that bad is that we are losing the social norms and behaviors required for dating to be possible, such as...

• Men having the self-esteem, confidence and will to approach women.
  • Without this, the number of couples shrinks precipitously because now only a small minority of assertive or risk-taking women will be doing all of the approaching. Men being unable to even initiate the genesis of what could be a relationship is akin to trying to bake a cake without an oven. In both cases, you'll never have a cake if you can't get the essential ingredients for it.
• Humans having their dating pool confined to the physical world and having only physical interactions with other humans
  • When sexual-romantic interactions go digital, dating inequality rapidly becomes unbearable.
• Men and women having the expected personality traits to be desirable
  • Men aren't masculine and women aren't feminine anymore. Men are either losers or fuckboys with a neutered father instinct and women are either losers or whores with a neutered mother instinct

Other Issues...

• Pornography, OnlyFans, AI significant others, online romance novels (Wattpad), etc.
  • Functions as a substitute for sexual-romantic partners.
• Loss of social skills and social confidence, rise in social anxiety
  • Isolates people and makes them scared of interacting with other humans, especially that of the opposite gender.

We could eventually get to a point where MGTOW-like rhetoric and 4B-like rhetoric where men and women cut ties with each other, as these norms propagate to every corner of culture, the children who are born or grow up in that society will barely date.

I could go on and on but we're losing the social norms and behaviors conducive to a functional dating market and adopting things conducive to a dysfunctional dating market. If this continues, we could get to a situation where almost nobody dates.
