3 years

its long but not that long
Including perfect nutrition? It took me 2 years to hit 175 lbs just lol but I didn't do any nutrition ever.

I'll hit 175 in a few months tho at this rate. I'm gaining much faster now since I used to have the muscle.

u prob didnt train hard enough and did some normie program. lets be honest

diet and sleep is overrated. u need a bare minimum for both obv but dont need to flexate too much

its all about workout programming and progressive overload

diet is overrated imo. sleep is not. sleep is extremely important though. good sleep= good day bad sleep= shit day

i meant strictly for muscle hypertrophy and CNS adaptation

when ur in ur 20s u recover with little sleep amd grow on bad diet too if u train hard

people use everything around workout to cope instead of fixating on the workout itself

u will read things like "body is 70%, made in kitchen" etc

its normie cope

i’m a retard when it comes to workin out but maybe it’s for the better. all i go by is, train hard and progressive overload.

if you put stress on ur muscles there’s bound to grow. if they don’t, u have bad genes plain and simple.

im not advocating to sleep bad and eat shit. they help tremendous, its just not smth ppl should pay TOO much attention too in first 1-2 year of training

its all about going in the gym and training like crazy for 2 hours till failure every set. u take preworkout b4 and its even more explosive. adrelanine rushes ur brain and feel like a god

you csn even grow muscle in kcal deficit until ur pro level (unless ur too lean). the bodys want to adapt to your crazy training condition is stronger than anything in that point

if u dont work out like this you will not grow naturally

I probably could've trained harder by training for longer. Most the time I was in the gym for 1 hour. I also didn't change my workouts much hitting plateaus because my body got used to what I was doing. But of course I'd progressive overload as much as possible.

How am I supposed to gain muscle with sleep apnea bro lol I'mma get checked for it as soon as I get insurance same with adhd.

i’m really gonna step it up when i go back to school then. i need to max out my noobie gains as much as possible.

basically: work out for 2 hours until failure, take preworkout. thing is, im extremely sore after working out hard and need 1-2 days before i hit the same muscle group again.

1-2 days before same muscle group is normal.

@cocainecowboy what split do you do?

yes u take at least 2 days before u hit same muscle group again

this is why i do PPL aka push-pull-leg

theres 2 days where the last muscke grp doesnt get trained so its always ready. its a cycle

i thought this too but keep at it even if you're sore and your body stops becoming so sore

There is so much bull shit in this thread just JFL. All you need to do a natty is workout 5x a day alternating between upper and lower. 5x5 for compound lifts , hypertropy for 10-15 reps for accessory work. Eat enough protein and carbs to put on muscle

After some time training I hardly get that sore at all. But creatine does help with recovery (I don't take it now tho).

*A week
IMO reps for hypertrophy / reps for CNS is a myth, and everybody is different.

I know.
From this chart I look maybe in between 15 and 20, I wanna get measured. I'll probably do it at those machines they have at the gym but I doubt they're that accurate.

i dont disagree with what you said, but this is the normie politically correct answer. my message is that regarding natty training, workout intensity and volume is greatly underestimated

people just do their little "muhh diet, muhh kcal counting, muhh good sleep, muhh supplements, muhh creatine, muhh ZMA" when they make realtively little to no difference

but when u compare ur average joe and how he works out. whats his split, workout intensity, volume etc. its really everything

you just gotta make strength and hypertrophy progressive overload your hobby. if working out is a "chore" just like preparing food, its not going to work ur u will make little gains

Body fat% is clearly not your issue, why are you focused on it?

Well everyone should get down to 12% or so bf, other than that I already know hair is my biggest issue.
