Absence of mewing is the problem. Mewing itself won't give spectacular results BUT the absence of Mewing will give you worse Maxilla and mandible position overtime.

Person above said he found it funny + Explain why my explanation is wrong - The general consensus is that mewing doesn't have any effect once your jaw is developed which is during your teenage years, not when you are young.
