The morph I did was just genio. Although I'm not sure how the area between the lower lip and chin would look and if it would create a mentolabial fold, cos it is quite a large genio movement

i don't have much to explain, just saying with this picture alone one can't confidently claim that bimax would be overkill. perhaps it is, just saying there is not enough information to make such a bold statement.

also, the fact that your bite is fine doesn't say shit about whether your jaws are well positioned, because teeth naturally try to adapt to the skeletal position (a behavior that is artificially exacerbated with orthodontics).

to me there are 2 questions here (at least):
  • are your lower teeth proclined to meet the upper teeth to compensate for a skeletal mismatch?
  • are your jaws downgrown? to me it seems like they might be a bit, as i said difficult to say with this picture alone.

Didn't confidently claim, I asked.

To your first question, no it doesn't, my bite is completely fine.

To your second question, yes my mandible is definitely downgrown.
