excuse the shitty wording i hope the formatting somewhat makes up for it

anyways niggas i need your help
help me choose what i should do

I know these two options might seem random, but there’s a reason behind them. Instead of overexplaining, I’ll just lay it out with a pros and cons list as it makes it way easier to see the logic.

Civil engineer (project management probably):
  1. Pros
    - my dad was well known in this area so ill get a lot of benefits in the job market due to nepotism:feelsohh:
    - safer option (with piloting it'd be like putting all my eggs in one basket)
  2. Cons
    - much harder imo
    - less cool and shiet
    - longer time to graduate
    - im not sure if ill really enjoy this tbh

Commercial pilot
  1. Pros
    -
    cool asf
    - mogger nomad life
    - travel the world and shiet

    - you get the point
  2. Cons
    -much more expensive
    - i would be fucked if it didnt work out as stated above
    -no nepotism:fuk:

i have the means to go choose either (decent enough grades, money, blah blah blah)
ama about this

Wish I became a pilot tbh. It's based, you basically just LDAR in the air all day since autopilot does everything now. It's like being a fancy bus driver but requires even less effort if you know what you're doing.

Id go the pilot route looks way cooler and you can always retrain later if you decide you want to be an engineer. Most people change careers multiple times anyway. The average age of this forum is low so I dont think allot on here realise that.

yeah imo pilot mogs but this shit is so uncertain yk
as an engineer there are many more exits even if i dont want to go into that field
thats why i think its safer and shit

what do you think of getting the engineer degree and just going for the pilot training after im done? that way ill have something to fall back on
thx btw

I don't think I'd be able to afford even basic rent with modelling alone, at this point jfl
BP is too mainstream so the influx of CLs/Chads now becoming sentient of their looks is crazy and very noticeable :feelskek:

I'll plan on doing this as a sidegig, like you, and focusing on psychology or med.

You could do that but just keep momentum dont do an engineering degree thn screw around deciding what you want to do. Momentum is incredibly important in life and worst case scenario is you get a degree in engineering and you dont jump straight into a job then you end up rotting.
