We have YouTube class lectures, free textbooks (libgen) and forums to ask about misconceptions. So tbh, it's not really self studying. The school is the internet and you are just schooling without the face to face element.

By staying consistent I guess. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve in 1 year after studying something for 2 hours each day
