^^^^

Some ppl argue its determined by muscle, some say genetics, others say the height or projection of cheekbones...

Does this prove a positive canthal tilt is caused by good forward growth? Could be lifefuel for nctcels...

unironically yes. And good forward growth usually comes with good orbital bones + cheekbone support. most extreme cases of NCT usually are on ppl with recessed midface.

What determines canthal tilt is canthal tilt.

You can't change it.

Ngl i believed this but in my own family the more recessed/poorely developed one is, the more negative the canthal tilt, making me lean more towards development as the biggest factor

Big correlation with cheekbone position from what I’ve noticed. PCT almost always goes with high set, forward projecting cheekbones

Truth^ this guy probably would’ve had PCT and would’ve been pretty boy Chad if he didn’t mouth breathe

height and shape of cheekbones, i explain it in this thread

you've already seen it, actually lol

so many factors

forward growth, cheekbone projection/height, skin, fat pads, muscles

it could be any combination really

I’m pretty sure it’s just genes.

I guess it has something to do with the position of your lateral canthus tendon

just genetics, im a mouthbreather until 16 yrs old and i have 1.13 midface ratio and my eye area is on my avi.

medial canthus position (not just shape) and supraorbital tilt are the determinants of canthal tilt and theres nothing you can do about it

Yh im starting to think midface ratio is heavily genetic, im a mouth breather aswell but i have a 1.1 midface ratio, still not sure about canthal tilt doe... mirin avi tbh:love:

midface ratio is like 65% genetic id say. eyes are like 80% genetic, loose lower lid is quite common with mouth breathers, canthal tilt doesnt change tho

forward growth and the proper head posture that comes with it. upwards rotated skulls are more commonly seen from below, exaggerating the already weak orbitals

Relationship between the frontal process of maxilla and the frontal process of zygomatic. Higher degrees of PCT is a feminine dimorphic trait due to lower nasal bridge.

Can you elaborate?
