What determines PFL?

Before you get my question wrong, I'm talking about PFL length, not PFL to PFH ratio.

What determines how large your PFL is? Is it eye depth into the socket (Not orbital forward growth)? Or is it how big your eyeballs are compared to your skull, been curious for a while.

only the eye size does

but things like skull size and face wdith play a huge role in how the pfl is precived
