if i roid up will i see benefit in widening my mandible or not?
Completely theoretically, yes. The only place I have ever seen this to be claimed as a true statement is tiktok. I personally haven't seen a single professionally done scientific study over the matter. I'm not saying it's false, but I wouldn't trust whatever you see on tiktok.

Widening your mandible wouldn't do much either way, you can't change the actual bone structure. The only way you can achieve the appearance of a wider jaw and/or flared or outward gonions is with surgery, implants, or filler. Assuming it's not terrible, growing your masseter muscles will probably not make you look puffy or bloated (which is what I'm assuming you heard). If you have severe...
You seem to have spelled onions wrong. As for what you can do for them, they make for a great slightly sharp, savoury flavor in several sauces or actual dishes. You can dice, chop, blend or just peel them and bite into them if that's more your cup of tea.

If this helped hit the checkmark on the right!

If you have severe inward gonions, do no train the muscle.

In my opinion, if you have inward gonions no matter the severity, especially if you have prominent lateral zygomatic bones, you shouldn't train the masseter. It will make your face rounder, which isn't a good front view. I personally have very slightly inward zygos, paired with prominent lateral zygos, and I think I look better without training my masseter, because it gives my face a shape much closer to a diamond face shape.

tl;dr - Imo, don't train them at all. Will make your face with inward gonions. If they are already big, I recommend Botox reduction.
