what do i do once i find out my growth plates are closed

what do i do after finding out my growth plates are closed, i am thinking of getting an X-ray pretty soon, and I've never been more anxious of something.

i am 5'8/9 in Norway at 17 and the average height of boys my age is like 6ft, there is more height difference between me and the average boy than me and the average girl which is too brutal. If i end up finding out that my growth plates are closed, I won't know what to do with my life
