What do people here's parents think about them getting surgery?

My dad and mom are both very supportive, and they ask to go with me to each consultation and they dont interrupt but he says he is very sad that he thinks that i think i need to do it. I am getting BSSO, and i have assured him its extremely safe.

Most people are hypocrites, they'll lie to your face to make themselves feel better, even your parents unfortunately. You've seen my before picture, well mind you everyone around me was telling me that I looked good, didn't need surgery, that I have severe body dysmorphia and that it's all in my head, etc

No they dont try and convince me out of it as I said they are very supportive. I will never let anyone convince me out of it as my instinct tells me its a good desicion. Im 21.

They say everything's fine on you, but won't explain why you have no success in socialisation. I went to consultations with my parents to some bluepilled surgeons and I heard all of that shit. I am meeting the new one, this time alone.

No, it’s effective at any age.

However your SMV continuously drops with aging so when you are very old like me, it’s quite possible that the boost from surgery, even a fairly complete surgery package like mine, will not even restore me to the SMV I had in my 20s.

I’ll go hard on skin treatments and Botox and things, to try and mitigate the damage, but the writing is on the wall.

Not roping as such, but I’ll die automatically from steroid use.
