In the old days people would go to a barber who would use a straight razor for a perfect shave, it was also an opportunity to socialize and talk to other people, only recently people started to shave at home.

I never shave so i am not sure what is the best. I have a lot of facial hair but its not like im gonna be getting any foids or going to a six figure job where i need to shave and wear a suit. In my experience shaving a long time ago the cheap razors with 2 blades, those ridiculous 10 blade razors, and straight razors all seem to do just as well as long as they are sharp. I think a big problem is people use the same blade multiple times without sharpening it so it tears up their skin. Never used a safety razor though so i am not sure about those
