If your a teenager going to the gym can be okay but I wouldn’t suggest having it as your only hobby, just say stuff that everyone does and you won’t get put in any uncomfortable situations, for example if you say reading or hiking someone might ask what books, or where you like hiking. Just say gym hanging out with my friends, watching tv shows or movies, and walking.
