I think it's due to the fact that intelligent women are more likely to be from asian backgrounds (considering that Asians have the highest IQ globally) and asian households tend to favour virginity til marriage, but idk this is an assumtion

Well, smarter girls also tend to be uglier, I've met quite a few in college and at various intellectual clubs(poetry, art, philosophy, etc.)
However, while I had many interesting discussions with them and shared a lot of things in common, I was still rejected by them, they want Chads just like all the other girls and will settle for nothing less. Many think they are much higher value than regular, average girls without realizing most guys don't really care about their IQ or accomplishments.
