One thing I have seen in my life, as well as on various tests I have taken, is that my working memory is much stronger than my processing speed. My working memory seems to be well above average on most tests I have taken, yet my processing speed is average and anxiety can absolutely make it seem as if it is worse than average. Like I can actually seem retarded at times IRL because I can freak out and freeze and then not know what to do. I also generally have an average/poor reaction time. I fucking hate anything competitive and fast paced because of this.

I have read(without any sources,tbh) that this is common among people with autism. I have never been diagnosed with anything, but I wonder if I do fall on that spectrum. Idk what the fuck else would cause that.

Yeah your IQ maybe above average or average but some aspects of intelligence are stronger or weaker than average at least by 1.5 SD. That is why people with ND should get tested in person by psychologists so that they can get properly diagnosed
