What does it mean if girls compliment my banana shirt

I have a few banana shirts I wear and I get compliments from females a lot. They would either scurry past me and say they like my shirt. Or they would read it. I also just realized a lot of females have been talking to me when I wore this shirt. Is this some sexual innuendo im not understanding? Are women that low brow? Are americans that bbc obsessed?
