What dose of creatine should I take ?

Hello guys,
I just bought some creatine, but I've heard that you gotta do cycle. A friend of mine told me I just take 10g a day for a week then 5g a day for 5 weeks.
Is that true ? What should I do ? Do cycle or not ? If yes, how frequent ?

No I don't think there is any point to loading creatine. Just take 5g everyday for as long as you want.

Do 10g for a week to get it in your system faster, then do 5g forever. But you must drink 2 gallons of water a day or else it will fuck your kidneys

if you really want to take creatine optimally i would recommend 10 a day forever

your muscles are greedy in a sense so they take most of the creatine

if you take over 5g 10 for example
it improves cognitive function as the creatine doesn’t only saturate your muscles
