What else should I add to my skincare stack while on Accutane.

I just got some bb cream and when I applied it it looked flaky because my skin was dry. Mostly because I was just out in the sun but I feel like my skin could maybe use some more moisture. I’m on 20mg Accutane and right now the only products I use are the avene cleanance hydra every morning, beauty of joseon tanning sunscreen as well, and the laroche posay b5 baume once a week. Anything else I should add in terms of topical?

you shouldnt be using any sort of exfoliants while on accutane, thats probably why your skin feels dry. when i was on 20 mg i only used an oil cleanser, which doesnt even have any exfoliants and thats it.

if you feel the need for some moisture try a serum with as little ingredients as possible. liquid is...
use the cisaplast baume more often maybe, its quite effective esp if ur skin is very dry on accutane

Use cicaplast every night as your moisturizer before bed if you have enough money to do so. Using it once a week won’t do much.

What’s your protocol with it and what for
just use it morning and night, its just good for skin elasticity and hydration. it might be cope but im just trying it atm with a mix of other things (diet is important) and its seeming to work

I see that but it’s comogenic so daily doesn’t sound too good. I just watched the 2 week clav video on what to do for skin so that’s basically where all my knowledge is coming from lol. Any other moisturizer that won’t clog?

The ordinary branded one?

Nigga omfg

Just do it. You aren’t getting any more acne once you’re taking accutane. This won’t affect you negatively.

Also quit using clav’s videos as your source of information

if you feel the need for some moisture try a serum with as little ingredients as possible. liquid is always safer for acne prone skin.

mark as solution if you found this useful :)
